Police are using technological tools to monitor the collective immersion
Police are using technological tools to monitor the collective immersion of Ganesh idols in Hyderabad. Each Ganesh idol mandapa has a unique QR code assigned to it, and they are being tracked with the help of geotagging. Additionally, the police have integrated this data with the Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) in Sri Lanka. This allows them to link the QR codes and geotagged data to an official app for efficient monitoring.

If you're wondering about the locations of these idol immersion sites, they span various areas along the immersion route from Balapur to Hussain Sagar, covering approximately 19 kilometers. They have deployed security personnel equipped with 125 platoons of paramilitary forces and three companies of Rapid Action Forces stationed at 18 key junctions.

To ensure comprehensive coverage, CCTV cameras have been installed along the entire immersion route. In case of any need, there is a substantial presence of security personnel, QR codes, and anti-snooping measures, including dog squads. Various teams, including the QRT (Quick Response Teams) and sniffer dogs, are actively involved in safeguarding the event.

The Integrated Command and Control Center (ICCC) supervises this entire operation, with officials from different departments overseeing the event. The police are also seeking cooperation from the citizens of the city to ensure a smooth and safe Ganesh idol immersion process.
