Jagan government has shared good news with farmers
In Andhra Pradesh, the Jagan government has shared good news with farmers. They have issued farmer credit cards to those eligible for Jagananna Pala Velluva benefits, allowing them to access essential loans for their businesses. Central government's livestock and fisherman farmer credit cards have been introduced through which Jagananna Pala Velluva beneficiaries can receive more extensive financial support. Districts have been directed to set targets for banks. In a recent meeting of bank officials, details of 2.28 lakh beneficiaries of Jagananna Pala Velluva were provided by the state government. Cards will be given to eligible cattle and fisherman farmers, and loans will be approved for their needs. Banks will facilitate the process in various camps held every Friday. Along with these cards, approved loans range from INR 2 lakhs to INR 3 lakhs. A 1.5% interest subsidy is provided for these loans, and those who repay loans on time are eligible for a 3% rebate in annual interest. These cards also come with the provision of approving loans every Friday through camps. Beneficiaries from various districts are now account holders in banks. It has been noted that the Jagan government has already provided cattle to the beneficiaries of Jagananna Pala Velluva. They have clarified that these cards are primarily intended for credit and loan approval. In addition to this, banks will soon be instructed to give priority to credit card holders who are eligible for Jagananna Pala Velluva benefits.
