Several days ago, there were disputes about the judges on social media in Andhra Pradesh. Allegedly, inappropriate posts were made about them. This led to protests outside the Presidential residence.
The Andhra Pradesh government sent a letter to the President's office, requesting actions against those who posted inappropriate content. Following this, the state government filed a petition in the High Court regarding the matter.
The situation escalated when the judges in Andhra Pradesh High Court started taking serious actions regarding the alleged trolling of judges involved in various cases.
In response to these events, the Andhra Pradesh High Court issued notices to 26 people, including TDP leader Buddha Venkanna. They are being treated as respondents in the court's proceedings. Additionally, the High Court has instructed the police to issue notices to Google, X, Facebook, and other social media platforms, demanding action against those who posted inappropriate comments.
